Our team began developing the sp_Monitor Toolkit collection to provide free practical monitoring scripts that help keep your SQL Servers reliable, performant, and to fill specific gaps in monitoring tools. We use them in our own clients environments and wanted to share them with the community too.

We use them in our own clients environments and wanted to share them with the community too. Each script identifies and alerts on issues, some even have optional parameters to automatically resolve problems as they happen.

sp_MonitorServiceBroker - Initial Release

sp_Monitor Toolkit

Our first release of our sp_Monitor Toolkit - sp_MonitorServiceBroker. The purpose of this procedure is to monitor the status of Service Broker enabled databases. It’s designed to detect and alert on if Service Broker is disabled, log the results, and optionally attempt to automatically re-enable it.
