Protecting sensitive information while maintaining realistic test data is a challenge many organizations face. We've seen a wide range of approaches - from simply setting everything to null, to dozens of custom scripts written by DBAs who are no longer with the company, leaving no long-term maintainability.

Our first release of our sp_Monitor Toolkit - sp_MonitorServiceBroker. The purpose of this procedure is to monitor the status of Service Broker enabled databases. It’s designed to detect and alert on if Service Broker is disabled, log the results, and optionally attempt to automatically re-enable it.
